Position Overview - Volleyball Coach
Season: August - December
Pay: Stipend offered commensurate with experience and length of season
We will have our inaugural volleyball season in Fall of 2026. The Volleyball Coach is responsible for establishing the King's Academy Volleyball Program and developing student-athletes both athletically and personally through the sport of volleyball. This includes planning and leading practices, teaching fundamental skills and game strategy, and fostering teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. The coach will model strong character, communicate effectively with players and families, and support the overall mission and values of the school. In an effort to develop the program, volleyball will operate on an extended practice schedule meaning they will practice from August-December.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop athletes holistically (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual).
- Create structured, engaging, and developmentally appropriate practices.
- Promote a positive and encouraging team culture.
- Model integrity, humility, and respect.
- Communicate with parents about game schedule, practices, and logistics.
- Dispense and collect team uniforms.
- Ensure arrival and dismissal protocols are followed.
